- Accumulator
- A type of parlay where winnings from one selection are placed on the next selection, increasing potential payout.
- American Odds
- Odds displayed as a positive or negative number; positive shows profit on a $100 bet, negative shows amount needed to win $100.
- Arbitrage
- Placing bets on all possible outcomes of an event across different bookmakers to guarantee a profit regardless of result.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside for betting.
- Bet Builder
- A tool that allows you to combine multiple markets from a single match into one custom bet.
- Bet Slip
- The digital record that lists your chosen bets, stake, and potential payout before confirmation.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or loss.
- Decimal Odds
- Odds expressed as a decimal number that includes the stake; multiplying your stake by the decimal gives total return.
- Fractional Odds
- Odds shown as a fraction, indicating how much profit you make relative to your stake.
- Handicap
- A virtual advantage or disadvantage given to a team to level the playing field for betting purposes.
- In-Play
- Another term for live betting, referring to odds available during the game.
- Juice
- The commission that the bookmaker takes on a bet, often built into the odds.
- Kelly Criterion
- A formula used to determine the optimal size of a bet based on your edge and the odds offered.
- Live Betting

- Moneyline
